Scarecrow Festival and October in Granville

"Magic in Mayberry"

The streets of Historic Granville are tranformed into the 1960's Mayberry Town for the month long.

One of Tennessee's largest SCARECROW FESTIVALS, with over 300 scarecrows, welcomes you with colorful diplays of yard art. You can imagine the birds singing and feel the wind from the butterfly wings as you walk the street. Enjoy the children's village with Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Disney Charaters, and the creative pumpkin patch. Bring your camera and take advantage of the many photo opportunities. The scarecrows and folk art characters tell the story of a simpler life.

Admission is $5.00 and includes admission to all Museums, Historic Home and Pioneer Village (Arts and Craftsmen Festival October 1-31 at Pioneer Village: Quilt Show at Granville United Methodist Church October 1- 31).
